our inquiry dance
for inquiry this year will have been making a dance. and I am going to tell you how we made the dance. first we watched a video of the seniors doing it. then we listened to the music for ideas. next we thought/brainstormed ideas.then we got into groups and thought of dance moves. then we shared some of are ideas to the hole group.then we figured out what would fit best with the beat and the lyrics.next we put all the dance moves together and practiced it a lot. then we filmed us dancing in different places in the school.

Brooke: Kia ora. Welcome to Rawhiti news. It’s 6 o’clock. I’m Brooke.
Breana: BREAKING NEWS. If you don’t do something to help climate change then the Earth will never recover.
Kera: Here are some things you can do.
Macie: Don’t litter and make sure you recycle.
Breana: Oh Macie, what sorts of things can we recycle?
Macie: Well it’s really easy to recycle things like plastic bottles, cans, glass and anything cardboard because there are recycling bins everywhere.
Kera: Did you know that clothes can be made out of plastic?
Brooke: How do you do that?
Kera: First the plastic bottles get collected
Millie: Then they get washed and cleaned.
Macie: Next they are put into a machine which squashes them together and makes them into pellets.
Kera: They are tested to see if they are good quality ad then the are heated and stuck together,
Millie: Then they are stretched and made into yarn.
Macie: After they are weaved into fabric and then the clothes can be made.
Brooke: Wow, that amazing

RAPAKI MARAE

All the year 4 went to the rapaki marae for a night and this is what my favourite things were to do I liked going to the beach and finding crabs and shells I also liked to go to the park and drawing some pictures of sea shells. and this is some stores I liked piwakawara have to find their nests they don’t make them the tui have white feathers to show they were cowards and pukeko live in swamps.

I first got some paper then I coloured the paper and then I cut it then I got the paper strips and then I did the weaving then I added the border and put on the white paper then I was done.
Tawhirmate planting trees

On Tuesday we planted trees I worked with my friend Julia. We needed a plastic bag, soil, a plant, and a weed Matt. First we put soil in the bag then we put a plant in the soil then we put more soil in then we put a weed Matt on the soil then we put on more soil then we were finished.
We planted these plants for Arbor Day. Arbor Day is about planting trees and taking care of are trees
